On Saturday, March 31st, from 8:30 to 9:30 PM, a global community of people will be switching off their lights to celebrate Earth Hour. Earth Hour is an organization started by WWF (World Wildlife Fund), in Sydney, Australia. It has grown worldwide. They try to promote awareness of light pollution by turning off all of their lights for one hour, one day a year, and encouraging others to do so. We hope you will contribute to the cause! Join in the fun, on March 31st, 8:30-9:30 PM. Learn more at http://www.earthhour.org/, or see Ava or Ellie (grade 6).
